bp wanted to stand up a new team to innovate for them, outside of their corporate structure.
I was the sole designer and user experience researcher on this new team of 5.
Process
Met with stakeholders throughout bp to identify areas where we could innovate for the company.
Collaborated with team to identify areas to innovate, and which of those would be most cost effective.
Quickly mocked up designs and workflows while pitching projects for stakeholder buy-in.
Result
Identified an under-served market of cash paying customers who could be incentivized.
A new team was created to pursue this innovation with our roadmap and designs. In 2022 they introduced the new credit card.
Impact
bp introduced BPme Rewards Visa® with elevated rewards and savings.
